Description
Purpose: This position exists to provide research and guidance for all warranty and unit file. Analyze and implement warranties and requirements. Communicate with internal management, dealers and retail customers to meet job objectives. Provide support for and participates in dealer related set up and training.
Essential Functions:
- Communicates with dealers and retail customers in a professional manner to gather information to complete warranties.
- Responds to a wide variety of issues from dealers, retail customers and internal personnel while providing dealership support and troubleshooting.
- Provides training or instructions regarding unit documentation and registration to dealers using the Dealer Portal in AX.
- Prepares documents from all Jayco divisions and dealers concerning units and scans/uploads/indexes to the correct unit serial number.
- Maintains and analyze unit warranties for accurate data to ensure warranty accuracy.
- Review and updates all information for change of owners and transfer warranties.
Maintains component information that has changed or is incorrect.
Additional Functions:
- Assists in creating and maintaining new dealer and non-authorized warranty setups and labor rate entry.
- Assists in dealer admin setup requests.
- Assists with warranty flat rate setup and maintenance.
- Assists in identifying areas and dealers in need of training.
Experience/ Knowledge:
- 1-3 years of related experience and knowledge preferred.
- RV industry experience is preferred.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Desire and ability to thoroughly understand policies, procedures and training tools.
- Instructional design and data analysis capability.
Necessary Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to accurately and thoroughly research issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills are required.
- Must display professionalism in all interactions and the ability to maintain a positive attitude through periods of adversity and disagreement.
- Demonstrates analytical problem solving skills, diagnose problems and recommend solutions consistent with Jayco’s customer service objectives and warranty practices.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects efficiently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, included AX.
Work Requirements:
- This position may require sitting, standing and working in front of a computer monitor in an office setting approximately 95% of the day.
- Must comply with all safety procedures and protocols.
- This position is a full-time position, which may require some flexibility in hours & days worked (including Saturdays, as needed).
