Description
This hourly position exists to provide and coordinate the first line of technical assistance, repairs and computer moves for all Jayco computers.
Essential Functions:
- Manage and maintain the Help Desk ticketing system and knowledge base running Microsoft System Center.
- Provides first level of support for IT Help Desk requests through phone and e-mail.
- Assist in the coordination to repair and support all hardware/software across all Jayco’s locations.
- Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
- Coordinate and communicate with impacted individuals on the repair and recovery from hardware or software failures.
Additional Functions:
- Engage with other IT team members to ensure issue resolution and support.
- Participate in planning and executing IT supported rollouts and upgrades of software and hardware.
Required Experience/ Knowledge
- 1-2 years of proven system support experience.
- Minimum of Associates Degree in technology related field, which can be offset by MCSA or other specialized training (A+, CompTIA).
- Any combination of Windows Server 2008R2-Windows Server 2016, VMWare and Cisco experience is desirable.

- Active listening & excellent interpersonal skills with ability to effectively communicate verbally & in writing.
- Critical thinking ability, problem sensitivity and inductive reasoning skills.
- Judgement and decision making skills.
- Working knowledge of basic networking, PC management/configuration, printers, mobile devices and support of basic Microsoft Office software packages.
Work Requirements
- This position may require sitting, standing, working in front of a computer monitor in an office setting approximately 80% of the day and occasionally, working in a hot, humid manufacturing environment.
- Requires ability to occasionally travel between field locations.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
- Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- This position is a full-time position, which may require some flexibility in hours and days worked.
