Purpose:  this position exists to schedule pickup and delivery of units between Jayco Document Coordinators and transport companies, configuring multi-haul loads, and ensuring accurate processing while enforcing safety regulations.

Essential functions

• Assigns and dispatches units to transport companies daily ensuring all dispatches are signed out and picked up timely.
• Coordinates dealer pickups are completed timely.
• Ensures accuracy of transport company yard reports and follows up on delivery delays.
• Assist in resolving issues with damaged units, document delays, and proactively monitors and tracks critical shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Communicates overnight changes and delays to all vested parties in timely manner.

Additional functions

• Periodically walks the yard to check for damages and/or accuracy of units on property.
• This position may back-up the Dispatch Supervisor, as requested.

Required Experience/ Knowledge

               2-4 years prior experience is preferred.

               Must possess a strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures.

Necessary Skills & Abilities

• Strong communication skills are required in regular interactions with Operations, Sales, Drivers, Credit, Customer Service and maintaining positive business relationship with transport companies.
• Manufacturing background preferred.
• Proficient in MicroSoft Office software.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.

Work Requirements

• This position may require sitting, standing, working in front of a computer monitor in an office setting approximately 95% of the day.
• Requires ability to occasionally travel between field locations.  Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and stoop, kneel, or crouch; use hands to fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. 
• Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds.
• This position is a full-time position, which may require some flexibility in hours & days worked (including Saturdays, as needed).
