Description
Purpose: this position exists to review, monitor and analyze incident tickets using data analytics to escalate trending incidents to the compliance team while supporting root cause analysis and corrective action reporting.
Essential functions
- Perform data analytics over warranty and consumer complaint data.
- Create and maintain incident notification dashboard making recommendations for continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist Regulatory & Compliance Manager with quarterly TREAD reports and Technical Service Bulletins and serve as back-up contact on all requests for information.
- Chair weekly Warranty and Incident Review Committee (WIRC) determining next steps and tracking of remedies both internal and external to Jayco to close the loop.
- Serve on Corrective and Preventive Action Committee (CPAC) to assist with issues escalated from the WIRC & participate with the Thor Compliance team posting field remedies on the compliance portal.
Required Experience / Knowledge
- Associates degree or higher in business related field.
- 3-5 years of data analytics experience.
- 3-5 years of technical experience in the RV industry.
- Must possess a strong understanding of all RV products and applicable safety standards to help drive positive and meaningful changes within the organization.
Necessary Skills & Abilities
- Requires proven proficiency and advanced working knowledge in all MicroSoft Office software, including Access, Excel, AX or other ERP systems. Working knowledge of Visio is necessary.
- Demonstrated data analytics and statistical analysis skills, writing queries and reporting of data in efficient, meaningful reporting.
- Working knowledge of problem solving techniques.
- Manufacturing background preferred.
- Knowledge of RV design and construction processes desired including RV codes and standards (RVIA/NFPA) and familiarity with Federal Regulations.
- Knowledgeable in National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) & TREAD reporting requirements and other regulatory reporting requirements.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills are required.
- Ability to build cross-functional partnerships, internally & externally.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.
Work Requirements
- This position may require sitting, standing, working in front of a computer monitor in an office setting approximately 95% of the day.
- Requires ability to travel between field locations occasionally.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and stoop, kneel, or crouch; use hands to fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds.
- This position is a full-time position, which may require some flexibility in hours & days worked (including Saturdays, as needed).
