Description
This entry level, full-time, hourly position exist to assist in the collection of data for a wide variety of projects throughout the business. This will be accomplished by using direct observations, lean tools, and best practices.
Essential functions
- Collect data for value-stream mapping, time studies, 6S, and Industrial designs.
- Enter and analyze data to support the Continuous Improvement team while providing suggestions on direction.
- Assist with Kaizen events and projects to support our customer.
- Embrace continuous improvement initiatives through: process, quality, and cost reduction analyses.
- Work with CI Facilitators in a team environment to ensure success of each project, task, or event.
Experience/ Knowledge
- Requires high school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Preferred 1 year of experience with LEAN practices and projects utilizing the following LEAN tools
- 6S
- 8 Wastes
- Problem Solving
- Preferred background in an RV manufacturing or assembly environment is a plus.
- Preferred experience with operating AutoCAD, Inventor, Sketch Up or similar software.

Work Requirements
- This position may require sitting, standing, working in front of a computer monitor in an office setting approximately 25% of the day, and collecting data from a production environment approximately 75% of the day.
- Requires ability to travel between field locations.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and stoop, kneel, or crouch; use hands to fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
- Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds.
- This position is a full-time position, which may require some flexibility in hours & days worked (including Saturdays, as needed).
- Regular attendance is required.
- Remote work: not available.
