This position exists to support Operations by diagnosing, repairing, or replacing a variety of worn, damaged or defective mechanical items.

Essential Functions

• Inspect items for damage, defects or wear.
• Diagnose work to be completed.
• Repair worn, damaged or defective mechanical or electrical parts and components making adjustments for optimal performance and reassembling equipment after repair.
• Lubricate equipment for proper functioning and maintenance.
• Inspect, operate and test work to ensure proper functioning.
• Maintain repair or maintenance records.
• Order materials, supplies and/or equipment.

Experience / Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Prefer 1-3 years of trade related training or experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Requires ability to use a variety of hand and power tools as well as operate welding and soldering equipment.
• Must be able to read and understand technical instructions and information to perform appropriate maintenance and repairs.
• Must have manual dexterity to hold and move objects with hands as well as finger dexterity to handle small parts.
• Requires troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills to analyze and resolve repair issues.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Must comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.

Work Requirements

• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and stoop, kneel, or crouch; use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. 
• Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• This position is a full-time position, which may require some flexibility in hours & days worked (including Saturdays, as needed).
