Description
Purpose:
This position exists to perform all purchasing activities for the Service Parts Administration team. The position secures components from suppliers in a cost effective manner while ensuring adequate supplies are available to meet customer and dealer requirements.
Essential functions
- Initiates all Service Parts Administration purchase orders, expedites orders as needed.
- Writes and processes material transfer forms.
- Loads and maintains supplier quotes for after market purchased items.
- Processes MRP generated work orders to Jayco side departments.
Required Experience/ Knowledge
- Proficiency in personal computer skills including MicroSoft Office software
- APICS certification is desired

Work Requirements
- This position is primarily a sedentary position performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative nature.
- Regularly required to use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
- This position is a full-time position, which may require some flexibility in hours & days worked (including Saturdays, as needed).
- Regular attendance is required.
- Remote work: not available.
- Supervisory duties: none.
