Description
This hourly position exists to provide assistance across all functions of Human Resources.
Essential functions
- Assist HR personnel in administrative tasks in the following areas, as needed: HRIS system, Safety, Recruiting, Benefits including wellness and fitness center event planning.
- Assist with switchboard coverage, as needed.
Experience/ Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience required working with human resources principles, practices and procedures.
Necessary Skills & Abilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills are required.
- Must display professionalism in all interactions and the ability to maintain a positive attitude through periods of adversity and disagreement.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects efficiently while working in a fast-paced environment to consistently meet deadlines.
- Must demonstrate the ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail on consistently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
Work Requirements
- This position may require sitting, standing, working in front of a computer monitor in an office setting approximately 95% of the day.
- Requires ability to occasionally travel between field locations.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and stoop, kneel, or crouch; use hands to fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
- Must be able to occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds.
- Must comply with all safety procedures and protocols.
- This position is a full-time position, which may require some flexibility in hours & days worked (including Saturdays, as needed).
- Supervisory responsibilities: none.
- Remote work: not available.
- Regular attendance is required.
