Description
Purpose:
Greet all visitors and transfer incoming company phone calls that are routed to the operator to the appropriate individual.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer switchboard calls and direct calls to appropriate party efficiently.
- Meet and greet visitors as they enter front lobby area.
- Assist employees with questions and/or requests for information by providing HR Request form to employees to complete.
- Monitor office supplies and requests new stock as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Over 1 to 3 years related experience and knowledge equivalent to high school education. Requires ability to operate a multi-line phone console. Incumbent must be able to communicate in a cordial manner on the telephone and with the on-site visitors. Must have knowledge of company campus and departments as well as personnel.Work Requirements:
- Sitting 95% of the day, standing occasionally, working in front of a computer monitor to operate the switchboard calls and manage emails.
- Regular attendance is required.
