Purpose:  This position exists to be responsible for receivables, collection activities and reporting for all of Jayco divisions.

Essential Functions

• Manages receivables and collects & applies all monies received in an accurate manner.
• Enforces the credit terms and conditions for Jayco to support adherence to Jayco policies.
• Investigates and resolves dealer invoice discrepancies.
• Contacts dealers and customers to follow-up on balances due.
• Communicates issues regarding problem dealers to management on a weekly basis.
• Reviews monthly aging for past dues and monthly offsets.
• Assists with dealer/customer file maintenance and set up.

Experience / Knowledge

• Requires a minimum of 3-5 years related experience.
• Requires basic accounting knowledge.
• Some college training in Accounting or business related fields is preferred.
• RV industry experience is preferred.

• Desire and ability to thoroughly understand and follow policies and procedures.
• Great attention to detail and efficient data entry skills.

• Critical thinking ability, problem solving, sensitivity, and inductive reasoning skills.
• Requires ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions along with ability to interpret information.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills are required with demonstrated ability to communicate policy and procedure information on behalf of Jayco, Inc.
• Must display professionalism in all interactions and the ability to maintain a positive attitude through periods of adversity and disagreement.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects efficiently.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including AX and Excel.
• Must comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.

Work Requirements

• This position may require sitting, standing, and working in front of a computer monitor in an office setting approximately 90% of the day.
• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and stoop, kneel, or crouch; use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.  Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 20 pounds.
• This position is a full-time position, which may require some flexibility in hours & days worked (including Saturdays, as needed).
• Regular attendance is required.
